The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Fighters Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a colorful mix of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in power within the city.

Note: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the central cast to begin their independent quest, distinct from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team features Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three distinct groups: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might appear out of place, but the actions of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

First, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, striking the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The traitor then paid off his debts and fled to a secure base in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each character has a individual motive to depart the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer knows the region and warns that it is a dangerous location.
  • The strong character and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to kill the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their status as important members in the powerful family could assist the party access areas they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter pledged a eternal obligation to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The cleric defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them few options but to journey toward Timmony in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s Cooldown, we discover that the combat party will not appear next week, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Questers and Strategists tables.

Fans can look forward to learning which characters will be in which group in the season’s last Overture episode, released on next week.
